An appellate court Tuesday ordered Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. to compensate the families of five former Korean employees who were subjected to forced labor during Japan’s colonial rule. Two construction workers were killed and one injured when part of the support structure for a new access ramp on Seoul’s Banghwa Bridge was dislodged on Tuesday.
