[Weather] Expect more hot weather on Sunday

Cloudy skies are expected to be seen nationwide in Korea on Sunday, but the temperatures will remain high during the day. The daytime high in Seoul will reach 28 degrees Celsius in Seoul, 25 C in Incheon, 26 C in Busan, 29 C in Chuncheon, Daejeon, Daegu and Gwangju.

The temperatures are expected to rise on Monday, the Korea Meteorological Administration said.

As strong ultraviolet rays are forecast in most regions of the country, people are advised to wear a hat, sunglasses and long-sleeved clothes while outside.

Fine dust levels will remain moderate throughout the day nationwide, but ozone saturation could rise to ‘bad’ in some parts of the country.
