Scheduled for October, the first event will be held at LPGA International Busan, the tour’s first golf field outside the United States. The prize for the event will be $2 million in total, the company said. The upcoming event will be the only tournament for professional female golfers sponsored by BMW.

BMW also sponsors the PGA Tour’s BMW Championship and two tour events in Europe.
