Barbecue party
at Sheraton Grande Walkerhill


Sheraton Grande Walkerhill’s Korean barbecue restaurant Myongwolgwan is offering unlimited barbecue, salad, dessert and beer on upcoming Saturdays -- Aug. 22, Sept. 5, Sept. 19, Oct. 3, and Oct. 10 -- from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Guests will be able to enjoy Myongwolgan’s high-quality, charbroiled beef prepared with premium hardwood charcoal at the restaurant’s outdoor garden, which boasts a panoramic view of the Hangang River against the backdrop of Achasan Mountain.

A variety of barbecued meat will be available, including beef ribs, lamb chops and handmade German sausages, alongside over 20 different types of seasonal side dishes and desserts. Unlimited Pilsner Urquell beer and juice will also be served to adults and children, respectively.

The barbecue party is priced at 120,000 won for adults, 70,000 won for children and 40,000 won for preschool children.

Unlimited wine
at Grand Hyatt Seoul


Grand Hyatt Seoul’s buffet restaurant The Terrace is presenting an unlimited wine dinner buffet promotion starting Aug. 15. With the promotion, guests will be able to enjoy an unlimited amount of French wines with their meals. A sommelier will provide recommendations on how to best pair the wines with the Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and Western dishes offered in the buffet.

The seven wines featured will be the Rhône Paradox Côtes du Rhône, made in a unique artisan style with grapes from the Rhone Valley in Southern France; the Charlopin Bourgogne Pinot Noir; the Bouvet Crémant de Loire Rosé, an iconic sparkling wine representative of the Loire region of France; and four others for guests to discover.

The promotion is priced at 99,000 won from Mondays to Thursdays and 105,000 won from Fridays to Sundays.

New head chef
at Grand Hyatt Incheon



Grand Hyatt Incheon has appointed Michael Clinton, an Irish national and chef with over 30 years’ experience, as the hotel’s new executive chef. Chef Clinton will be overseeing culinary teams for all of the hotel’s restaurants, bars and room service, and for all events taking place at the hotel.

The chef’s first start with Hyatt Hotels was at the Grand Hyatt Singapore in 2008. As the hotel’s executive sous chef, he was responsible for the culinary teams of four outlets and two bars, with a focus on Italian, Malaysian, Chinese, Indian and contemporary European cuisine. In 2010, Michael was promoted to executive chef of Park Hyatt Dubai and held the position for over five years.

By joining Grand Hyatt Incheon, Clinton hopes to create authentic dishes and enrich the hotel’s culinary offerings with his wealth of experience in international cuisine.

Big family package
at Sheraton Seoul D Cube City



Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel is presenting the “Big Family Package” for guests planning a memorable trip in the city and a large-scale, fun-filled family gathering.

The package includes an overnight stay in two deluxe rooms; the second room, however, must be occupied by persons of 18 years or younger. It also includes a breakfast buffet for four adults at Feast, the hotel restaurant where guests can enjoy a sumptuous morning buffet with noodle, grill and dessert stations. The breakfast buffet is complimentary for children under 36 months.

Free access to the hotel gym and swimming pool is also available for all staying guests.

The package is priced at 418,000 won and will be offered until Dec. 31. Reservation is not available on Dec. 24.

at Kensington Jeju Hotel



Kensington Jeju Hotel is providing a late summer package that includes a round-trip ticket to Jejudo Island and two nights’ stay at the five-star luxury hotel. The package will be available from Aug. 24-Sep. 24 for those seeking a belated summer getaway within Korea. It includes two nights in a deluxe room and two round-trip tickets for Asiana Airlines, departing from Gimpo and arriving on Jejudo Island.

Guests will be able to choose from two types of complimentary breakfast: a Mediterranean brunch with eggs, sausage, bread, Greek yogurt and fish at Hanul Orum’s rooftop terrace, or the world cuisine buffet at La Olle.

Guests will also want to enjoy a refreshing dip in the hotel’s rooftop pool Skyfinity and garden pool Oceanfinity.

The package is priced at 330,000 won and is only available for two nights per party.

The sauna and mini bar are also accessible for free. Welcome drinks will be awaiting when guests check in.
