Celebration of French cuisine at Grand Hyatt Incheon

Grand Hyatt Incheon’s Restaurant 8 presents French course menus during the month of January as part of the restaurant’s promotion for each different global cuisine. The French Café offers a five-course lunch and dinner, featuring luxury ingredients such as caviar, truffles and foie gras, paired with fine French wines. The lunch is 66,000 won and the dinner is 88,000 won. In February, grill chefs will present traditional Korean Lunar New Year menu. Each month, a selected kitchen will showcase its signature menus and conduct side events such as chef’s table dinners and cooking classes. Throughout March, the restaurant will present Asian cuisine using fresh seasonal seafood prepared by chefs from the noodle part. For inquiries, call (032) 745-1234. 


Shandong cuisine at Grand Hilton Seoul

Grand Hilton Seoul’s Chinese restaurant Yeohyang presents Shandong seasonal menus from January to February. The promotion available for lunch and dinner is to offer menus that would help guests overcome the cold weather and maintain good health throughout winter. Ingredients to be used include Chinese chives, known for helping blood circulation to warm up the body. The lunch menu includes assorted seafood with bean curd and vegetables, Shandong-style beef fillet and sautéed Chinese chives with seafood and steamed Chinese flower bun and more. The dinner menu will include dishes served for lunch, plus two more menus -- birds nest soup with seafood and mushroom and braised “pei pa” bean curd and pine mushroom with oyster sauce and steamed ding prawn with garlic. Strawberry desserts at Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel

Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel presents a strawberry dessert buffet at the Lobby Lounge.Bar on the 41st floor of the hotel. The afternoon dessert buffet “All About Strawberries” is open from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday from Jan. 3, offering a variety of desserts made with strawberries. The menus include strawberry tart, chocolate strawberry tart, strawberry madeleine, strawberry mille-feuille, strawberry crème brûlé, soft strawberry curd cream, strawberry meringue sandwich, macarons, chocolate fondue and more. Ring in the New Year at Millennium Seoul Hilton

Millennium Seoul Hilton’s English-style bar The Oak Room hosts a New Year’ eve countdown party on Dec. 31. The party will feature live music played by the bar musicians all night. The tradition of the bar is to play Auld Lang Syne to say good bye to 2014 and welcome the New Year. Champagne and other drinks are available for purchase during the party. The bar offers a wide selection of international beers and cocktails and some dishes that go with drinks.
