Tempura promotion at Millennium Seoul Hilton

Millennium Seoul Hilton’s Japanese restaurant Genji is offering a tempura course meal featuring the seasonal ingredient pine mushroom. The eight-course dinner, priced at 180,000 won per person, includes a sashimi selection of sea bream, halibut, sea bass, abalone and cuttlefish; steamed lobster with pine mushrooms; deluxe pine mushroom tempura and more. A la carte items are also available, including pine mushroom tempura priced at 100,000 won. Tempura is the Japanese dish of vegetables or seafood that are deep fried. September and early October are the best time to enjoy pine mushrooms, harvested naturally under old pine trees. For more information, call (02) 317-3240. 

Hapuku promotion at Lotte Hotel Seoul

Lotte Hotel Seoul’s Japanese restaurant Momoyama presents the fall special Kaiseki cuisine featuring the seasonal delicacy Hapuku. Prepared by chefs Jeong Byoung-ho and Kang Chang-geon, the Kaiseki promotion will feature fresh Hapuku fish delivered to the chefs early in the morning. The Hapuku Kaiseki menu is only available from Sept. 23-25 and priced at 145,000 won for lunch and 245,000 won for dinner. A gala dinner on Sept. 25, priced at 450,000 won, will be paired with Clos Du Val Cabernet Sauvignon, dubbed the President’s Wine as it was served at the inaugural dinner for former Presidents Lee Myung-bak and Roh Moo-hyun. Holiday Inn Incheon Songdo opens

Holiday Inn opened its doors in the international business district in Songdo, Incheon, on Sept. 5. The hotel of the popular brand under InterContinental Hotels Group is located in Central Park to offer easy access to the Central Park subway station on line number 1. The hotel is 20 minutes from Incheon International Airport and 40 minutes from the city center of Seoul. It also boasts proximity to Songdo landmarks such as Canal Walk Shopping Mall, Songdo Convensia and Jack Nicklaus Golf Club. Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel presents a fall accommodation package, which includes two afternoon tea sets. The “Autumn Refresh Package” includes a one-night stay in a Deluxe Room, two afternoon tea sets delivered to the room, a 30,000 won coupon for body treatment at Aequalis Spa and a 10,000 won coupon for a facial treatment. The spa staff recommends customized treatments according to a guest’s condition especially as the seasons change.
